Tell us what you want to build.
Five short fields is enough to start. You will hear back from Emilio himself.
Prefer to talk?
Either number reaches Emilio, the owner. Describe the property and the ambition; you will get a straight answer about whether they belong together.
Fair questions, straight answers.
What areas do you build in?
Two regions: Toronto and the GTA, including North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Mississauga, and Muskoka cottage country, including Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Port Carling and the big lakes. If you are near either, ask; the areas page lists every community.
Do you design as well as build?
Yes. Eden is a design-build company: the drawings and the construction live under one roof and one contract. You are not hiring an architect, then a builder, then refereeing between them; the design is priced as it is drawn, so the budget and the plan agree before work starts.
What will my project cost?
No honest builder can price a custom project from a phone call, but we can tell you what drives the number: site conditions, foundation and structure, the envelope, and the finish level you choose. The what-it-costs page explains each driver plainly, and the first conversation will put a realistic range on your specific project.
How long does a project take?
It depends on design complexity, the permit path, and the site, and anyone who quotes months before seeing those is guessing. The timeline is scoped with the design and written into the schedule before construction starts, so you always know the plan for your project rather than an average of someone else's.
Do I need a permit for a dock or boathouse in Muskoka?
Usually, and often more than one. Municipal building permits apply to almost all boathouse work, conservation authority approval applies where they have jurisdiction, larger crib work can need an MNRF work permit, and federal fisheries and navigation rules can apply on some waters. Our permits page walks through it, and scoping that path is part of how we design waterfront projects.
Can you handle waterfront and cottage-country sites?
Waterfront structures are core work for us: two-storey boathouses, docks and shoreline structures are a large part of our portfolio. Building on the water means planning around ice, water levels, granite shorelines and short seasons, and those constraints are designed in from the start rather than discovered during construction.
What happens when a site is difficult?
Difficult sites are normal for us: exposed rock, slopes, tight urban lots, work at the waterline. The answer is always the same, investigate before designing, design for the site rather than fighting it, and put the risk in the plan instead of the contingency line.
Do you take on additions and renovations, or only new builds?
Both. Additions, whole-home renovations, structural alterations and basement framing are part of our core work alongside new homes, cottages and boathouses. The same crews that frame our new builds do the structural work inside renovations.
Who will I actually deal with?
Emilio, the owner. He is the person you meet first, the contact while the job runs, and the one whose name is on the work when it is done.
