Framing
Every straight wall and quiet floor in a finished house was decided at the framing stage. It is the trade everything else stands on.

Good framing is measured in what you never notice later. Walls that hold a straightedge, floors that do not bounce or squeak, openings that are square when the window arrives, backing where the finish trades will need it. That standard comes from layout discipline and from crews who stay on the job rather than rotating through it.
For basement framing, the concerns are different: moisture separation from concrete, straightening walls that were never straight, and mechanical runs planned so ceiling height is not given away by accident.
